PlantPulse Edge

The data gateway at your factory door

A full-stack industrial edge gateway that connects to PLCs and equipment over 42 industrial protocols, collects tag data, applies formula and scaling preprocessing, stores and visualizes locally, and streams upstream via a built-in OPC-UA server and MQTT/Sparkplug B. Collection, storage, time-series, dashboards, rules, and an AI copilot all fit in one container — and it runs standalone without the platform.

01

42 protocols, one box — including Korean and Asian lines

From Siemens S7/Profinet, Rockwell EtherNet/IP, Beckhoff ADS, and Omron FINS to Korean and Asian lines (LS ELECTRIC XGT, Mitsubishi MELSEC, Panasonic MEWTOCOL, Taiwan FATEK), Fanuc FOCAS (CNC), semiconductor SECS/GEM, and power DNP3/IEC 61850 — 42 drivers are built in. New equipment just needs a driver, and 25+ are CI-regression-tested with in-house PLC simulators.

  • 42 protocol drivers (incl. LS, MELSEC, Fanuc CNC, semiconductor SECS/GEM)
  • 3-tier architecture: in-house sockets + industrial protocol framework

Unify a mess of protocols into one standard — OPC-UA republish

Every tag pulled in over 42 heterogeneous protocols is re-published through a built-in OPC-UA server. SCADA and HMIs consume a single OPC-UA standard without knowing the underlying protocols. Bidirectional writes are supported — writing to a server node forwards to the actual PLC.

  • Built-in OPC-UA server — unifies 42 protocols into one standard
  • Bidirectional write forwarding · TLS (12443) · user auth
  • Compose a Unified Namespace over MQTT and Sparkplug B

Never lose data — store-and-forward and standalone

If the platform or a required channel drops, points queue locally up to 500,000 and drain automatically on recovery. Edge reconnects every 30 seconds and resyncs fully on recovery. With an event/time-series DB, in-memory cache, time-series engine, and dashboards built in, it collects, stores, and monitors on-site without the platform.

  • Store-and-forward buffer of 500,000 points · lossless resend
  • 30-second auto-reconnect · full resync on recovery
  • STANDALONE operation (local storage, time-series, dashboards)

04

The edge speaks for itself — on-edge AI copilot

Ask about operations in natural language and control from the edge console. Read tools run automatically; control actions like starting/stopping OPC or writing tags are approval-gated and require human confirmation. Point it at a local LLM via an OpenAI-compatible API and data never leaves the site.

  • On-edge natural-language operations Q&A · approval-gated control (5-min TTL)
  • Point at a local LLM — retain data sovereignty
  • Multimodal image input supported

05

Gateway-level redundancy — non-stop failover

Connect two edges to a PLC's two Ethernet ports so both collect continuously, granting write authority to only one. If the writer stalls, the standby detects it via a PLC heartbeat and auto-promotes in about 8 seconds. Observation through the shared resource (PLC) makes it split-brain safe.

  • 8-second auto-failover via PLC witness
  • Split-brain safe · non-stop promotion API

C Use Cases

Automotive Parts & General Manufacturing
Challenge
Mixed equipment of different makers and vintages (LS, MELSEC, Siemens) makes collection hard to standardize.
Solution
Collect heterogeneous equipment through one gateway with 42 drivers and standardize via OPC-UA.

Outcome

Unified collection · minimal integration development

Semiconductor & Electronics
Challenge
Fab equipment must connect via standards and no subtle signal can be missed.
Solution
Connect equipment directly with the semiconductor SECS/GEM standard and preprocess at high speed on the edge.

Outcome

Standard equipment connection · high-frequency capture

Defense & Power
Challenge
Operate in air-gapped networks with no data exfiltration, and need power standards (DNP3/IEC 61850).
Solution
Air-gapped offline install and image signing, power protocol drivers, and local-LLM AI keep data sovereign.

Outcome

Full air-gapped operation · zero data exfiltration

D FAQ

Do you support our plant's equipment protocols?

42 drivers are built in — S7, EtherNet/IP, MELSEC, LS, FINS, ADS, FOCAS (CNC), SECS/GEM (semiconductor), DNP3, IEC 61850 (power) and more. Coverage extends broadly to Korean and Asian lines, and protocols not on the list can be added.

Can I unify multiple protocols into one?

Yes. Every tag collected over 42 protocols is re-published through the built-in OPC-UA server, so SCADA and HMIs consume a single OPC-UA standard. You can also compose a Unified Namespace over MQTT and Sparkplug B.

Our network drops often — will data be lost?

Store-and-forward buffers up to 500,000 points locally and resends automatically on recovery, so nothing is lost. It reconnects every 30 seconds and resyncs fully on recovery.

Does it work in air-gapped networks?

Yes. Signed offline install bundles let you install and operate without internet, and the on-edge AI can point at a local LLM so data never leaves the site — ideal for security-first defense and power sites.

Can I make the gateway itself redundant?

Connect two edges to a PLC's two ports for structural read HA, with automatic failover in about 8 seconds via a PLC witness. Observation through the shared resource makes it split-brain safe.
